About Dillon
At first look Dillon seems to be a quaint western town sleeping quietly next to
I15 in southern Montana. We have a traditional downtown with buildings from the
late 1800's, a nearby railroad track lined by preserved log cabins from early
settlers, and a distinct feel of the old west. But start looking closer and you
will find start finding amazingly hip coffee shops, fantastic clothing stores,
galleries, and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
Dillon Montana is home to the University of Montana Western, a beautiful
campus providing innovative education through experiential learning. Dillon is
also the birthplace of the Great Harvest Bread Company which is spreading the
good wholesome smell of fresh baked bread across the nation!
Dillon is famous for its fantastic fly fishing streams. The Beaverhead river
runs clean and clear through the valley offering great fishing stories and
fishing holes. Dillon has many fishing guides and outfitter businesses to teach
you this marvelous, and healthy sport. |
